Meet the Doctor

Dr. Ethan D. Ly received his Doctor of Optometry in 2001 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He received special training in primary optometry at Eglin Air Force Base at Fort Walton Beach, Florida and ocular disease training at The Eye Institute of New Port Richey, Florida. Throughout all his training, Dr. Ly has established a caring and gentle approach to managing his patients and provides the personal attention that patients find unique and outstanding.

Dr. Ly, however, is no stranger to the Nashville area. He did his undergraduate work at Vanderbilt University, where he received his bachelor of Biomedical and Electrical Engineering.

He is therapeutically board certified by the Tennessee Board of Optometry. He is also a member of the American Optometric Society, Tennessee Optometric Society, Cool Spring Chamber of Commerce, and Franklin Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he has been elected as one of America's Top Optometrists and awarded the Gold Key Society Award for outstanding leadership, service, and dedication to the practice of Optometry.

He is married to his lovely wife, Dr. Loc Nguyen Ly, and has two wonderful children, Ethan and Kaitlin.
